Cerebral symptoms

Cerebral symptoms of brain tumor:

  • headache
  • dizziness
  • vomiting
  • convulsions
  • disturbance of consciousness (coma, constipation, milder degree – inhibition)
  • mental and intellectual disorders


 

Focused symptoms

Focused symptoms are those that indicate the focus in which the tumor or other pathology is located. That is, if the affected visual center – visual impairment, speech – speech, respiratory – breathing, and so on. In addition:

  • disability of one arm or leg
  • loss of sensitivity of a certain part of the body
  • deafness
  • hallucinations
  • amnesia
  • inability to form new memories
Diagnosis

Diagnosed with metastatic brain cancer by MRI – magnetic resonance imaging. The size, location and number of the centers are found out. A biopsy with immunohistochemical examination is prescribed if the origin of the secondary tumors is not clear. This means that the tumor material is taken for examination to determine which species of cells got there (for example, regenerated cells of the lungs, breast, etc.), and it turns out, respectively, and the primary tumor.
